EZZEAC PLUS ™  HERB INFORMATION

BURDOCK ROOT - Throughout history Burdock has become legendary as the best “blood purifier” known.  The history of this herb indicates that it is also beneficial to the skin as well as stomach ulceration. Medical research at Nagoya University in Japan has shown that Burdock Root helps reduce cell mutation as well as shrink tumors.  The Japanese have isolated, from Burdock Root, the substance they believe is responsible for the effect on tumors.  Some people believe that malignant cells and tumors start out as a fungus. This herb has shown the ability to destroy both fungus and various types of bacteria in laboratory experiments. Burdock Root has a natural painkiller in it, which many have found beneficial.  This herb has been used over time to help regulate blood sugar levels.  Inulin, a substance in the root, helps the pancreas to produce insulin, which may make this herb helpful to diabetics.  Burdock helps the body eliminate excess fluid assisting the kidneys, liver, and the overall digestive system thereby helping arthritis, sciatica and rheumatism.  This herb is rich in the B and E vitamins also minerals which include potassium, phosphorus iron, magnesium, zinc, silicon, cobalt, and chromium.  Burdock Root the main ingredient in the formula and  Dr. Maclean considers it the most important.

SHEEP SORREL HERB - Unlike Burdock, the leaves, stem, flowers and seeds of this plant are used.  The arrowhead shaped leaves are rich in chlorophyll.  Used extensively in the Ezzeac Plus formula, this substance helps the blood pick up oxygen, increasing the body’s ability to fight off many invasive bacteria, viruses, parasites, and malignant cells.  Research at M.D. Anderson Cancer Hospital in Houston, Texas has shown that chlorophyll aids the body’s immune system in fighting against certain carcinogens and helps strengthen the overall immune system.  Because this herb contains as much as 40 % iron compounds, it is also very effective as a blood purifier and excellent for the lymphatic system (years ago the immune system was called the lymphatic system).  Some of the health problems this herb has been used for are jaundice, skin diseases, tumors, boils, urinary and renal diseases, to expel worms and kill putrefaction in the blood.   It may be proven to be effective in the war against chromosome damage which is considered by many to be a precursor to tumor growth.  Sheep Sorrel is rich in Beta-carotene, Carotenoid compounds 8-12%.  Also rich in Vitamins A, B complex, C, D, E, and K. Also minerals which include calcium, iron, magnesium, silicon, sulfur, and zinc.

CAT’S CLAW HERB – ( This is not in our Ezzeac Plus™ Original Formula) According to Dr. Maclean, this herb is second only to burdock.  This 100 foot long vine grows primarily in the Amazon Rainforest of Peru.  The Ashanica Indians of Peru have used this plant for many hundreds of years to treat a large variety of diseases, especially skin and digestive problems.   Medical and other scientific research have shown the effectiveness of this herb for many immune deficient problems including tumors, Chrones, AIDS etc.  Cat’s Claw herb has been used to effectively decrease pain and inflammation in arthritic patients.  The natives used the inner bark of the vine for less severe problems and the root for more serious illness. These indigenous people used between 2 and 20 grams per day in the form of a tea.  Dr. Maclean’s research  with independent laboratories has shown the root to be 3 to 4 times higher in alkaloids than the vine.  And it is the vine that most companies are selling in the US and Europe.  Much of the previous medical research was done using the root of the plant, not the vine.  At this time, it is believed that the alkaloids in the plant are the items responsible for the healing properties, but this has yet to be proven by science.  Dr. Maclean feels that there may be several properties about the plant especially the root that may be responsible for the benefits medical science has shown.

SLIPPERY ELM BARK - The inner bark of the Slippery Elm tree is stripped. dried and ground into powder.  This herb differs from the others because of its mucilage properties. When wet, it becomes slimy.  History reports that the Indians in the U.S. and Canada would oftentimes survive hard winters when game was scarce by eating the inner bark of the Slippery Elm tree because it is known to have more nutritional value than oat meal.  The mucilage property makes this herb superb for coating any area it touches.  It protects membrane linings and relieves inflammation.  Many texts have reported about its use for ulcers as well as lubrication of the joints.  As it moves through the digestive track, it attaches to toxins and moves them out of the body thereby helping cleanse the entire system.

TURKISH (INDIAN) RHUBARB ROOT - This ancient herb has been used in both the Orient, (specifically by the Chinese) for more than 2,000 years and in North America by the Indians. In 1987 a research team investigated 178 Chinese herbs for antibacterial activity against one of the major microorganisms in human intestinal flora.  Only Rhubarb was found to have significant activity.  Recent scientific findings show Rhubarb in small amounts as a cathartic (cause a laxative effect) due to the anthraquinones and anthraquinone sugar derivatives and in large amounts as an astringent (antidiuretic effect) due to the tannins. The opposite effects caused by this plant are simply due to the amount taken at any given time. Take a small amount and get one effect and take a large amount and get the opposite.  One hospital studied three kinds of extracted Rhubarb used over 10 years.  Employing a double blind method, patients in each of three groups showed an efficiency of over 90% in curing their upper digestive tract bleeding. One problem with this herb is that it has a high level of oxalic acid, which may cause renal damage as a result of the formation of excessive calcium oxalate.  Oxalates can cause the development of kidney stones and lead to kidney damage.  Therefore it is absolutely necessary to add another herb to the formula to help offset the negative potential danger of Turkey Rhubarb Root.

WATERCRESS - Historically the Greeks and Romans thought this herb improved the brain and later in medieval Europe it was used for sword wounds.  Early settlers used it to prevent scurvy, a spring tonic and as an appetite stimulant and the Indians adopted it as a food and used it to treat kidney and liver problems.  Today the British eat Watercress sandwiches and use it instead of lettuce.  Dr. Charles Brusch, Physician to the late President John F. Kennedy and fellow researcher with Nurse Rene Caisse (the promoter of the original essiac formula), informed Dr. Maclean that Watercress should be added to the formula, in very specific amounts, to offset the negative effects of the oxalic acid from Turkish Rhubarb. Watercress is high in vitamin C, which is an antioxidant.  Antioxidants are one of the items that help dissolve kidney stones.  Watercress is rich in various mineral salts as well as vitamins C, A, B2, D, and E.

EZZEAC PLUS TEAS IMPORTANT INFORMATION

GENERAL INFORMATION

1)     We were the first company to commercially manufacture an essiac® type formula in the United States.

2)     We are today and have always been the largest manufacturer in the United States.

3)    Dr. Maclean first made this formula 16 years ago, then 2 years later Flora produced their version and called it “Flor-Essence”, then a year after that, Resperin  came out with their outdated version called “Essiac”.  Even though they had this tea for 17 years they would not sell it to the public until Dr. Maclean with his formula and Flora made it popular. 

4)     There are three major differences between our brand and all other brands on the market:

i)         Our brand uses three times the herbs as all other brands.

ii)        Our brand does not boil all the herbs together but instead treats each herb separately, increasing the effectiveness twice as much.

iii)      Our brand is the only one to have two versions of tea; one with cat’s claw herb and one without.

5)     Contrary to what companies are telling everyone, NO essiac type formula will raise the immune system.  Cancer is an immune deficient problem.  Dr. Maclean is the only researcher to add Cat’s Claw to the formula to boost the immune system.

6)     Dr. Maclean’s formula is the only one sold to physicians at medical conferences, cancer clinics, hospitals, both nationally and internationally, chiropractors and osteopaths.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:

I want the ORIGINAL ESSIAC formula, not some knock off brand.

  1)     There are several things that you might want to consider.

First , Dr. Maclean started with the original 4 herb formula.  Dr. Charles Brusch, who worked directly with Nurse Caisse, later advised Dr. Maclean how to change the formula by adding a 5^th herb and thereby making it safe the same way that he and Nurse Caisse Did.  Nurse Caisse sold the old original outdated, 4 herb formula to Resperin Corporation.  This is the formula she stopped using many years before.  She did not sell them the newer, safer version.

Second , The 5^th herb was Watercress.  Any formula without watercress can cause kidney stones or kidney deterioration when taken in large doses or over a long time.  The original ESSIAC formula, still made in Canada today, only uses 4 herbs with NO Watercress.

  2)    Would you want to drive an old model T Ford with no A/C, heat, radio, etc., or a modern car with all the modern improvements?

           Then why would you want to use an old remedy that has been proven can be harmful to the kidneys due to high levels of oxalic acid rather than the

           newer formula that has been improved upon several times and shown to be not only twice as effective as the old formula but now it is safe.

I already use the Original Essiac (please refer to the above response).  I already use Flor-essence.

      1)   Dr. Maclean has checked their formula and has said that they use good herbs, but there are several major differences you need to know about.

First, Flora as well as ALL other companies, boil all their herbs together at one time.  Some of these herbs should never be boiled or you kill them and completely loose their effectiveness.  In fact, Flora lessons the effectiveness of 5 of the 8 herbs in the formula.

Second , One of the remaining 3 herbs needs to be boiled then cooled, then re-boiled then cooled a second time.  It is on this second cooling that it releases its medicinal properties.  They don’t re-boil the second time.  Now they are down to only 2 effective herbs.

Third , We use 3 times the herbs as Flora and 4 times more than most other companies.

Fourth , Flora nor any other company offers a formula with Cat’s Claw in the formula.  Contrary to popular belief, no essiac type formula raises the immune system, although they would like you to believe that.  So we added Cat’s Claw to boost the immune system.  Cat’s Claw has a strong medical history researched in 7 countries that shows it to be a very powerful immune booster.

2)     Even though Dr. Maclean came out with his formula 2 years before Flor-essence, while they put their money into marketing to become the most popular brand, Dr. Maclean put his into continued research.  Today our formula is twice as effective as Flor-essence.

3)     Flora Corporation has tried to buy Dr. Maclean’s formula twice.  They admitted that his tea was much better than theirs, but they had better marketing.  Both times he refused to sell.

I use Essiac tincture

            Dr. Maclean has evaluated every type of essiac on the market and has stated that the way tinctures are made, it reduces the effectiveness substantially.   Tinctures are generally made by an alcohol extract process, which kill the effectiveness of the formula.  This formula must be done with a hot water extract.   Our method uses hot water only.

I use Essiac capsules  (one brand will be ET by Nature’s Sunshine

            Raw herbs must have their medicinal properties extracted by hot water or alcohol.  These particular herbs need to be extracted by hot water.  To grind up  raw herbs and put them in capsules does no good at all and is a total waste of money because the body does not get hot enough nor acid enough to extract  all the necessary properties from the plants.  It is simply like eating ground up wood.

I make my own tea from raw herbs

a)    To make your own is less expensive but let me ask you a question; do you mix all your herbs together at one time and dump them into a pot of boiling water and boil them for about 10-20 minutes?  IF yes, then you are killing most of the formula.  Some of these herbs should never be boiled or you destroy the medicinal properties.  One of the herbs needs to be hard boiled twice not once.  By doing it the way you are loosing 50% of the effectiveness.  That means you are wasting half your money and not getting all you could from this formula.

b)    Let me ask you a question; do you have Watercress in your formula?  If not, did you know that without it you could cause potential damage to your kidneys.  This is due to oxalic acid in the formula, which is offset by a very specific percent of Watercress.  Nature’s Unique treats each herb separately to get the maximum properties from each herb.  We then add the correct amount of Watercress to the formula.  Most people don’t realize that if you add the wrong amount of Watercress it is like adding more oxalic acid to the formula.

I Use Brand X

a)    Ours was the first formula to be commercially used in the United States., Flor-essence by Flora came out 2 years after we started selling the formula, and ESSIAC BY Resperin came out 3 years after Nature’s Unique. All other brands are spin-offs of ours and theirs.

b)     However ours is the only one that is manufactured where all the herbs are not boiled and where 3 times the herbs are used to make the finished product.

c)     Nature’s Unique tea is the only tea used in cancer clinics and sold to physicians at medical conferences.

d)     Ours Ezziac Tea is the first and only one to add Cat’s Claw to the formula.

  I think it cost too much

a)   Normally the tea retails for between $45 and $69 per bottle because it is so effective, but if you compare that to the cost of a hospital stay and drug treatment this is inexpensive.

b)    Our brand is equally priced with most other brands but with ours you get a great deal more.

c)     Remember you are getting 32 ounces per bottle, some other brands are only 16 ounces.  If that is the case you must double the price they are asking to get equal comparisons.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

How much of the Tea do I use?

The amount depends upon the problem.  Generally, persons with tumors will take 2 ounces 2 times a day. In severe cases or where the person is about to die, the amount can be increased to 2 ounces 3 to 4 times a day.

Is this tea safe for everyone?

a)     We manufacture two formulas; one formula has Cat’s Claw in the tea because most illnesses are due to a failed immune system.  We also manufacture an Original formula which has no Cat’s Claw in the tea but has all of the same qualities of the Cat’s Claw formula except the immune booster.  If you are taking an immune suppressant for any reason, i.e. an organ transplant, you should not take anything to give the immune system a boost.  It would be safe for you to take the Original Tea instead.

b)     Also, if you are pregnant or nursing you should not take the Cat’s Claw formula.

How long will one bottle last?  Or how much so I need for a months supply?

            How long one bottle will last depends upon how much you are taking a day.  There are 32 ounces in a bottle; at 2 ounces, 2 times a day one bottle will last 8 days.  How much you need for a months supply depends upon how much you are taking each day and what you are taking it for.  Generally the total amount of ounces per day a person is taking, is the number of bottles they will need per month, i.e. 2 ounces 2 times a day is 4 ounces per day total; therefore they will need 4 bottles per month.

When should I see results?

            Each person’s body is different.  You may see some change in a week or two or it may take months to see any change; although you may notice subjective changes like you just “feel better”, sleep better, have more energy, reduced pain or increased appetite.

The Indians say that if you can clean the blood you can heal the body, but if you don’t first clean the blood you will never completely heal.  There is probably a great deal of truth in this since the blood feeds the entire body.  THIS TEA IS KNOWN AS A BLOOD PURIFIER.  Burdock Root, the main herb in the formula is the best, natural blood purifier known to man!

RECOMMENDED DIET

Our experience has shown that in addition to the use of Nature’s Unique® products, a great amount of additional benefit can be obtained if the following is included as part of your program.  Generally, the more you can do that is listed below, the faster you’re desired results will be seen. Your problem probably took a long time to develop; it may take a little time to correct. Please keep in mind that Dr. Maclean created this, in part, from his experience as a Federal Food Inspector.

A STRICT Vegetarian diet – extremely important

1. NO animal products at all (beef, fish, pork, foul, etc.) (they are loaded with chemicals designed to make the animal hungry all the time and add weight on quickly and they are extremely difficult for the body to digest)

2. NO animal by-products (eggs, cheese, milk etc.) (these work like glue in the human body, milk is high in sodium and low in potassium, great if you want to feed such things as cancer cells)

3. NO processed foods (canned, packaged, or cooked) (these are loaded with chemicals and are all cooked leaving little to no enzymes)

4. NO white foods, enriched flour products, salt (other than sea salt), white rice, white bread etc.

5. NO wheat products such as wheat bread.

6. NO coffee, soft drinks (especially diet soft drinks), liquor, chocolate, tobacco, tea - except herbal teas

7. NO sugar or sweets - except honey or fruit (sugar depresses the immune system and feeds candida yeast).

8. NO tap water - use only distilled or water purified by reverse osmosis.

9. NO toothpaste with sodium fluoride - calcium fluoride is OK. (sodium fluoride decreases the adrenal glands’ ability to function properly).

10. NO oil or oil rich foods such as nuts, salad dressings, avocados etc., except flax or flax seed oil. Flax oil helps the body assimilate protein. Peanuts have on them a fungus that produce aflatoxin used to stimulate tumors in test animals.

11. NO protein rich foods or substitutes after 2:00pm. But protein rich foods are necessary before 2:00pm. (although a must for life, protein interferes with the body’s ability to heal, which it does in the afternoon and evening. Also undigested protein has been linked to tumors).

Add these to the diet – extremely important -   items with** before them are a must and are listed in order of importance

12. Fresh fruits - the more the better (organic if possible), these help detox the body and supply it with natural sugar.

13. Fresh vegetables - the more the better (organic if possible), these help rebuild the body especially when eaten raw.

14. Juiced fruit or juiced vegetables with each meal - the more the better.

15. Eat fruit and vegetables separately (eat fruit, wait 30 min. then eat vegetables or eat vegetables, wait 90 min. then eat fruit).

16.     EZZEAC PLUS ORIGINAL OR EZZEAC PLUS CAT'S CLAW TEA - (we recommend only this brand) This Ezzeac Tea is the most important item of all. Take two ounces 2 or 3 times a day.

17.     “BLACK ALOE™ concentrate” – (we recommend only this brand) used to support the immune system – start with 7 drops and add 2 drops each day until you are taking one teaspoon in the a.m. and one in the p.m.

18.    “GREEN MIRACLE ” – (we recommend only this brand) helps the red blood cells pick up oxygen and may return the body urine from acid pH to alkaline in a matter of hours.  Green Miracle has received  “Seal of  Approval” from the Diabetes Resource Center.

19. Purchase litmus paper to measure the pH level of the urine, (Nature’s Unique carries this item if you have a problem finding it).  We recommend a pH environment of 7.2 –7.6 pH.  Most pathogens that can harm you including tumors thrive in an acid pH environment.  It is essential to keep the pH level of the urine as alkaline as possible.  It is best to test the urine about 1-1½ hours after eating noon or evening meals. Make sure that the urine is alkaline especially before bedtime.
